stressederic Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 So then; we come to this. Let's firstly hope our players get through international duty ok. f*** knows what shape United will be in when we arrive. But if we can turn it on we could really storm the place...

aka Dus Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Just another game this year. 2 or 3 goals to 1. Next.

Stevie H Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 it's moyes's waterloo. if he can't get them up for this one then he truly is a dead man walking. still wary of talking about this one until we've got past this upcoming round of internationals and hodgson's latest folly though.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Imagine being in Moyes' shoes for this one knowing how well we spring forward and their fans demand to play attacking football. Rodgers has 2 weeks to plan this. This could be the least nervous I have been ahead of an Old Trafford game since we played them in the League Cup in September.
Red Yoda Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 They are going to want to derail our possible title push, we will want to grind them a little further into the mire, there is quite a distance between us in the table but there is so much on this for both teams, it is still going to be a huge game. Just the thought of this game fires us up and a 2 week wait is only going to make it all the more huge!
sean Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I cannot recall the last time we went there with genuine expectation as opposed to hope. If we turn up we could actually take these apart. Their defence has been makeshift all year and our attack is just devastating. I'm still worried about this one.

Benzo-13 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 This is the ultimate role reversal. Over most of the last two decades we got up for these to give them a bloody nose and hurt their title aspirations.Shoe is on the other foot, they'd love to stick one over on us here. Gonna be a war. A lot of their players on last hurrahs and proving points with them, for us we need an early goal then counter attack our balls off.
rednotdead Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Won't be a pushover and they have the individual quality to get a win - Ronney if bothered, RiP likewise. But let's hope they cross to death again and we can exploit the spaces left behind their full backs with Suarez and Sturridge peeling off and getting one on one with whatever superannuated centre half they have in.

You've seen us defend crosses this season, right?

Quite a few mancs I know genuinely think we're going to tank them. Don't think I'd ever be expectant going there.

Hopefully yer man Olsson can nobble a couple (THE couple?) of the decent players this Satdee lunchtime as well. If only Charlie Adams played for WBA.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Had a dream last night that we were playing them yesterday in the League Cup Final but that Rodgers didn't want tofield a strong team but save them for the league game. We lined up as follows: Jones Flanagan Toure Agger Robinson Cole Spearing Sissoko Downing Carroll Shelvey I decided not to watch it cause of the team and checked the result on Teletext - we lost 2-1 with Momo scoring for us.

Gravy Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Out of all the games left this season, this one, IMO, will define our season. They will be going hell to leather more than normal (us in 1992 at home to them). Win this and the shackles on the dare to dream horse are well and truly off

Gunga Din Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 had a dream last night we beat these 12-2. we were 6-2 up at half time. Henderson scored a worldy, but i cant remember much else about the dream
Conrad Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I'd like to see Sterling in for Coutinho, otherwise same team
John Nada Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 It'll be Webb, we might as well already take this on the chin as a defeat. Plus we're the one team continuously lashing crosses in at us will probably work against.
