Molby Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 so what we doing then, resting anyone? some of our lads are looking a bit tired, especially Suarez - this must not have come across on telly but he was often doubled up getting his breath back
Dan Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Think you leave it unchanged and, if needed, look at Arsenal next week to rest anyone. Unless of course Agger is back.
Tommy Cockles Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Coat & Badge pub near Putney station for some pre-match heavy drinking if anyone's going.
DJS Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 That's right back just off Putney High St. The 8 Bells is the normal pub for this, isn't it?

However, I would imagine keeping Luis on the bench will be difficult. I think he stayed on as long as possible yesterday to see if he could get a goal. He'll want to play every game and get back on track scoring. Think we will go with the same team and hope we can tear them apart in the first half and rest some players in the 2nd Half.

Red Yoda Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Same again ................. -----------------------Mignolet Flannagan----Skrtel----Toure----Cissokho ------------Gerrard-----------Henderson Suarez--------------Coutinho--------Sterling -----------------------Sturridge If we get to a point in the game when we feel the points are safe then we can make subs and rest a few players . Johnson , Agger , Sakho are due back extremely soon , Lucas hopefully not that long after that , we can rotate maybe easier at that point when our bench is stronger if we feel that it is appropriate .

I remember watching one of our preseason games in the Far East in there one year, while I was meant to be working It's a bit further away though, but yeah nice pub.
McBain Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 They need dealing with early after that point at ot. They'll be a bit more confident and we need to crush their spirit from the first whistle by dominating possession. Which is something we struggle with a bit too much on the road lately
stressederic Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 We just need to go at them and actually play football. We're quick and intricate and incisive when we're on it. Just have to get going quickly.
Rimbeux Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Parker looks 33, they look a bit short of energy all around. It's an absolute must to get a couple ahead quickly, they'd love to dig in.
Gunga Din Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 same 11 Fulham will be dead on their feet. They also need points so will have to come out and play a bit. We'll batter them if we play at even 75%. Suarez due a few goals too

RP Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 If anyone's got a spare, I'll gladly help you out with it.

Tobes Rafa Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Sorry. I knew when I was typing it I was probably having a mare. Spent all afternoon at the stove and just necked a nice big g&t. Eejit.
Cam Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Rest Suarez. And one of Henderson or Coutinho (use Allen). For the Arsenal cup game... same team as yesterday.
Maldini Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 No resting. We need 3 points. The league is on.
