I've carried on buying the odd bit of vinyl over the years, and I was aware of it making a bit of a comeback, but I've really started to notice it the last few weeks. Saw a couple of 15/16 year old kids wandering about (not the shops but presumably taking them round their mates house for a listen) at Christmas clutching new albums, and there was a decent sized vinyl section at the new record shop in Warrington where HMV was. The last 20 years or so it's just been old b******s, DJ's and nerds buying vinyl, but it's looking like the kids dig it.

 

Am delighted to be honest, I went vinyl shopping before Christmas for the first time in years in a couple of second hand places with the missus and there's something really really great about it. It's not just nostalgia eithe rI don't think, there's just something very satisfying about it.

 

Presume there's a few vinyl enthusiasts on here. Would anyone else think of getting a record player again?
