Song Suggestions please...

It's my brother's 40th tonight and I've been asked to DJ (do a load of Spotify playlists and keep my eye on them). It's in some bar in Bishops Stortford and will largely be populated by people who stopped listening to music in 1998 so I'm keeping it fairly safe.

 

Have already complied 4 playlists - the first is from 7.30 to 9.30 and is basically just background music, lot of 80's and 90's stuff significant to my brother and gets a bit more hip hoppy later on).

Next one is a bit more lively and is a bridge between the background music and the idea that people may want to dance (not guaranteed but it is the first night out a lot of these people will have had, without kids, for a while).

Anyway, it's all fairly safe and there's a lot of indie but I need some more suggestions. For example it only occurred to me that I was missing Sweet Caroline this morning.
