Now that it's the 50th anniversary of December 1963, I think this song needs a reevaluation.

 

I have looked at the lyics and can come to no other conclusion that it is about Frankie Valli losing his virginity to a prostitute. He gets a bit overexcited and shoots his load prematurely (as I recall it ended much too soon).

 

Does anyone agree with this? And are there are any other famous songs with lyrics that have naughty hidden meanings (Lou Reed songs that are secretly about smack are excluded as that is the most boring topic known to man)?
