As is traditional, here are my top 5 gigs of the year to start you all off... actually got one more left, but as it's Deacon Blue at the Arena I'd be flabergasted if that snuck into the Top 5...

 

1. Savages (Art Academy, Liverpool)

2. Lambchop (The Kazimier, Liverpool)

3. John Grant (East Village Arts Centre, Liverpool)

4. Low (Anglican Cathedral The Well, Liverpool)

5. Public Service Broadcasting (East Village Arts Centre, Liverpool)

 

Savages just utterly lived up to the hype for me

Lambchop were as lovely as ever despite recent albums being somewhat underwhelming

PSB was just fun
