I'd go

Mignolet

Johnson

Toure

Sakho

Cissokho

Gerrard

Alberto

Allen

Coutinho

Aspas

Suarez

Moses in for Aspas if he can't do us 60. Flanagan for Johnson if he's a world away from 100% and I'd bring him on regardless.

Rest Lucas; he'll be more use against West Ham.

Flanagan RB and Johnson LB for me. Definitely Aspas and Allen, but I'd have Henderson instead of Alberto.

I started with that but think we get too narrow and need someone left sided on the left somewhere.

I'd have

--------------Mignolet

Johnson-Sakho-Agger-Flanno

--------Henderson-Allen

---------------Gerrard

--Ibe----------------- --Coutinho

--------------Suarez

None of Sterling, Moses, Aspas or Cissokho have shown anything remotely lately for me to want to see them start.

I am not really a 'give the kids a chance instead' sort, but Flanno seems to be defying the odds well enough to get another start and right now Ibe and Alberto are the only attacking squaddies left that doesn't leave me thinking 'they won't deliver'. If Alberto could somehow do a job on the wing I'd take him too, but I think the team could use a more proper wide man.

When we are comfortable, Alberto takes over from Gerrard. Later on, Lucas can swap for one of Hendo and Allen before Moses gets a shot at proving he can do as well as Ibe late in the game.

So much relies on the full-backs under Rodgers, I'd rather we were defensively solid there at the moment and I think my setup gives that.

I've no idea how Norwich play tbh. I'd love to see Alberto and Countinho on the pitch but Gerrard probably needs more help than just Allen.

If you have Coutinho left then you need a fullback who's going to overlap. Johnson is all about cutting inside.

Another reason why Moses didn't work the other night was that Flanno didn't support enough. Like Carra, good defensively on the left, not as sure of himself going forward as he is on the other flank

Flanno-----Toure-----Sakho------Cissokho

------------Lucas--------Allen-------------------

-------------------Gerrard-------------------------

------Alberto--------------------Coutinho-------

--------------------Suarez-------------------------

Get it won. Switch Gerrard for Henderson, Coutinho for Sterling in the second half. Johnson's been shyte since the international break. If he has a knock then rest him.

These are the games when resting one or two starters shouldn't upset the system. Keep squad players in good form because it's highly likely that we'll need them against one of the bigger matches over Christmas.

I'd rest Stevie and play Allen and Hendo ahead of Lucas. Allen can do a job when he doesn't have too much responsibility and these are there for the taking if we have the right attitude.

Moses should be left on Merseyside. Has to be Alberto and Coutihno behind Suarez.

Sakho and Toure at the back and lets smash them.

3-1 us.

AC Milan type 4-1-2-1-2:

Mignolet

Johnson - Toure - Sakho - Cissokho

Stevie

Lucas - Allen

Coutinho

Aspas - Suarez

Stevie in the Pirlo role which he needs to learn if he's going to stay in the team for longer than this season. Lucas and Allen running around tackling people and giving it to the playmakers (Coutinho as Kaka, Stevie as Pirlo).

we're at home lad

My heads out of it today, had some very bad news

Of course he should be left at home permanently. In the Mersey rather than on Merseyside.

I was thinking that at first but I think it's worth giving Aly another chance rather than play a player out of position.

And then I'd be very "aggressive" with the subs. If you aren't performing (no matter what your name is) you'll get subbed early on.

Should give someone a try here. Moses & Aspas no chance. Allen perhaps...maybe one of the kids

MIgnolet

Johnson - needs to buck up though

Sahko

Agger

Flanno

Gerrard

Henderson - also needs to buck up

Alberto

Sterling - another who needs to buck up

Suarez

Aspas perhaps, kind of struggling with my 11th pick

bench

Keeper

Toure - if he's over the knock

Skrtl

Allen

Play Sakho

Don't play Srktel or Flanagan (great in the derby, not a player to win games at home with).

That's half the job.

I am confused by this.
