épieur Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Absolutely massive game for us this one. These are the kind of away games we need to be going all out for to take home three points. Win this and we have two very winnable home games against Norwich and West Ham coming up. If we can take 9 points from the next three games we'll be in a great place before going to Spurs away. Looking at the rivals next three fixtures it's: Arsenal: Cardiff (A), Hull (H), Everton (H)Chelsea: Soton (H), Sunderland (A), Stoke (A)Man City: Swansea (H), WBA (A), Soton (A),Man Utd: Spurs (A), Everton (H), Newcastle (H)Spurs: Utd (H), Fulham (A), Sunderland (A) Arsenal look about as likely as we are to pick up 9 points but aside from them, I see all our other competitors dropping points. A good chance to build a nice little buffer at the top two before a difficult December. Hull's best result in the prem has been a surprise away win against Newcastle. Other than that, they've been a predictable promoted side taking their points against lesser sides and folding when things got tough on them. Come out guns blazing and we should take our 3 points confidently.
Dan Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 These are s****. Should be a straight forward three points.
Earl Hafler Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 They haven't scored a single goal from open play at home.
Montse Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Well theres a couple of mockers on page one!

Our chances of getting 4th are contingent on us seeing off 2 of the big guns. Getting to new year with a lead on these two would really help.
Hassony Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 They haven't scored a single goal from open play at home. that's ok, we tend to concede most of our goals from set pieces anyway
Earl Hafler Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I'm expecting 16 points from the next 7games. Puts us on 40 which would have been 2nd place at a similar time last year. 4-3-1-2 against Hull. Shut them up early and just grind them into the ground.

épieur Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 i may even put my "united to lose every game ever" mentality aside for a week and root for a draw This can be rationalised according to the dictum that Moyes must not do too poorly to begin with lest he back sacked too soon a la Roy.

New York Red Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Arsenal are not going to have an easy time at Cardiff. We'll batter Hull though. I'd like to see Luis Alberto get a start.

Cam Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 We'll win this 8-0Feck off with that mockering sh*te... it'll be at least 10.
Beardsley Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Feck off with that mockering sh*te... it'll be at least 10. So, the game's only gonna last 10 minutes?
John am Rhein Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 We should aim to draw. Then we might win.
Conrad Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 lets rest the first team and play rush goalie
Falconhoof Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I wish their owner would change their name to Rod Hull.
