Contrary to all the propaganda I'm nowhere near the oldest on here

 

I watched Foulkes when I was a kid although he was quite invisible alongside Best and Co. so don't really remember him that much. He played in a couple of great sides so must have been top drawer.

John Giles was on newstalk there on irish radio and was asked about foulkes. Giles was a young player with the mancs at the time. Instead of the usual banal offerings he said Foulkes wasn't the nicest bloke he had ever met and was basically a bit of a b******s to him! Unusual for those types of interviews.
