Itchy bum hole

There's a lad in my office who has noticeably been scratching his hoop regularly for the last few days, a constant Roy Hodgson at Newcastle style interference with his bum. Everybody else has noticed him doing it and are giving him a wide berth. Do I point it out to him? How do you go about broaching this sort of subject? What do I do here?

 

It isn't my a*** so I don't need ointment recommendations, thanks.
