And i've yet to see the aerial dominance thing. Think some of it is due to the computer games.

Have you actually watched him at all? He's a beast in the air.

correct, terrific leap on him and he's dead aggressive with it.

Watched quite a bit of him thanks.

I don't know how you couldn't see that he's good in the air then, it's like saying "I haven't seen this dribbling thing" about Suarez

This is a good point; being great in the air isn't just down to pure height (even though it helps a lot).

The timing, leap and aggression of a player in attacking the ball are all major factors. Some extreme examples of players who belied their lack of height by being terrific at all the other aspects mentioned are the likes of Fabio Cannavaro and Les Ferdinand. 6"2 is plenty if you do the other things well.

I also feel upper body strength is a big factor - I think the main issue with Skrtel (although he played great yesterday) is he's too lightweight against powerful forwards. The likes of Benteke and Lambert bullied him badly last season. United's forwards were a better fit for him despite their quality.

According to the stattos on Twitter: Last season, Sakho won 76.4% of his 110 aerial duels. No player in 2012/13 PL matched that.
