dodgyscouser Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I see the team will wear the new 13/14 kit on Sunday Do you think Warrior have done a good job with the kit? I personally think they have done a decent job upto now considering there was lots of speculation that they would look like clown suits ;-)
The_Adder Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 (edited) Home kits are f***ing ace. I like the fact that are nearly all red, no big white trim etc. Aways not so much. there was a fake away going around before the start of this season that looked amazing, all black with a red trip that looked like you could have worn it on a night out (in Runcorn at least) so I was gutted when it turned out to be a fake. We come not to fill in surveys. Also, the away kits are the worst s*** of all time. Edited May 17, 2013 by CJMcDonald
Swan Red Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 haha sup Ste and as long as the red kit is alright then I don't really care too much about the others
richwilks Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I liked this season's purple kit, I'm not even ashamed to admit it..
Gunga Din Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 home strips should be all red and away strips all yellow.
smithdown Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 home strips should be all red and away strips all yellow. I agree. Everything else can do one.
Ed the Wool Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I always liked the white shirts, black shorts red socks away from the late 70's. Vague memories of Heighway....
Swan Red Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I always liked the white shirts, black shorts red socks away from the late 70's. Vague memories of Heighway.... My first away kit that when I was about 6. Possibly my last.
marty Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 silver/greay was the best...Barnes magic at Old Trafford 89-90 and 4-1 08/09
Chewie Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I'm confident that on Sunday we will begin to see the benefits of what the new kit is able to do technically

yellow jumper Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 silver/greay was the best...Barnes magic at Old Trafford 89-90 and 4-1 08/09 with the aways it's more about what's been done in them. personally don't think the yellow was a great kit, the grey one certainly wasn't. if we're talking tradition it's white, black, red. was it the green one we never won in? to the extent that they've done a decent job of respecting the home kit and left the madness for the aways it's been okay.
sutty Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I liked the Robbie Fowler green quarters away kit I liked Robbie Fowler. I think of him scoring in that kit. I liked that too. I didn't much like the kit though
Frosty Jack Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 One thing I only just noticed is the Liverpool FC text running up and down the stripes, all over the kit. For that alone I'd have assumed it was random jarg had I seen it on holiday somewhere. Otherwise I think it's okay, but this seasons is better.
Swan Red Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I liked Robbie Fowler. I think of him scoring in that kit. I liked that too. I didn't much like the kit though I'm older and can only really remember having no opinion of it at the time. I always think of Fowler scoring in it though and it looks better than Robbie blonde. I take your point though,

Collars have no place on a footy shirt Edited May 17, 2013 by Macca
Kite Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 This season's has collars. Collars have no place on a footy shirtYes they do. Around the neck bit.
Billy Talbot Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Home kit : Red2nd Kit : Yellow3rd : White shirt, black shorts. I really, really don't see what's so hard about that. If you want to change it up, swap the 2nd and 3rd kits each season. In fact. Even better. Make a new 2nd OR 3rd each season and the newer one is the 2nd, the older is the 3rd. And whilst we're at it, goalkeepers shirts are green.
Hus Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I really like the new home kit, the other two are horrendous. I don't understand how there can be such a marked difference between quality of the designs.
