Memory loss

Bit of a random one here,but has anybody here had persistent memory loss when they've been boozing? I can't seem to get back from a night out without some form of blackout these days,even when it's only been a few (6 or 7) beers.

Reached a low point over the weekend,went to a wedding with the wife and the pair of us got hammered and can't remember what happened.Now both of us feel shocking about it and can't seem to fill in the blanks.

 

Thinking about packing in the bevvies for a while,and was wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem.
