Jiggy Hates Jazz Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 My 90 year old gran lives on her own in a maisonette and, every night for the past two weeks, she's had vermin banging on her door and ringing her doorbell between 1am and 4am. I only found out because I went to visit her last week and she looked like she hadn't slept in days. Now, I get that knocking on doors and running off can be funny for kids and I thought that if they got no response (she's too scared to open the door!) they'd get bored and do something else but, two weeks later, they're still at it. So, at the weekend I asked a couple of neighbours if they've had the same problem and they tell me they've had it a couple of times. They think it may be kids coming to and leaving my gran's neighbour's place during the night (make of that what you will). Those neighbours only moved in a few weeks ago and there's been all kinds of t***s hanging around since. Feel free to tell me I'm overreacting but I'm fecking furious that people would harass an old woman who has heart problems and am looking for some forum advice on how best to handle this. I'm more than happy to stay over and chase the little t***s but also conscious that may make things worse for her...
