Girl aged nine, gives birth in Mexico

A nine-year-old girl has given birth in Mexico sparking a major child sex abuse and rape police inquiry.

 

Mexican authorities are looking for the child’s 17-year-old father after he ran away when the unidentified youngster became pregnant.

 

The week-old baby girl was born in Zoquipan Hospital in Jalisco state on January 27, weighing 5lbs 7oz, according to media reports confirmed by local police authorities.
