Gigs of the year

So, the year is nearly over, which means it's time for all those lovely lists...

 

Anyway, here's my 5 favourite gigs of the year:

 

1. The Low Anthem (Kazimier) - simply stunning

2. Amsterdam (Kazimier) - top singalong night as ever

3. The Jim Jones Revue (O2 Academy 2) - rock and roll heaven; so glad I got to see them at last

4. Blue Orchids (Kazimier) - obscure80sindienostalgiaheaven

5. The War On Drugs (Kazimier) - intense pleasure, and a special treat as I probably wouldn't have bothered getting the album if I hadn't seen they were playing and thought I'd chance my arm
