Suarez will score for us. Lambert will score for them. The game will end as a draw, a situation that will instigate the mass howling of t***s.

Sod off with these draws. They've hit a bit of form lately but we'll beat them.

2-0.

Yep, we seem to be beating the absolute turd so these will get the same treatment.

So basically every match this season then?

No. We thrashed Norwich. Remember that? If only every week could be like that.

If Lucas is fit enough I'd start him. Bring him off when he tires.

Southampton score after 18 minutes. Their goal, a 30 yard speculative effort from Rickie Lambert that goes straight through Pepe's hands comes about after Gerrard loses possession needlessly in the centre circle. We then up the pressure with 60%+ possession, most of it in the middle third of the park, we create 10 good chances on goal, all of them missed. Suarez has a stonewall penalty denied before Lucas is stretchered off after 62 minutes with a triple compound fracture of the spine. Sahin is anonymous, but his hair is beautiful. Jose Fonte tackles Suarez in the sternum when clean through and nothing is given. Finally in the 82nd minute, a scruffy Suarez tap in draws us level. Full time score 1-1, but we won the passing.

Big risk that, surely?

I always feel with a muscular injury that its a higher risk to bring them off the bench. at least if they start they are sure that they are properly warmed up etc.
