Allen is no Didi Hamann when it comes to protecting the CBs but tired or not he does a much better job than Sahin would.

I'd keep Enrqiue up there. Every time someone has a shot, Enrique is right there by the keeper following it in. We have nobody else who does that.

Gerrard shouldn't be near this after Sunday. He looks like he's dead on his feet. Wouldn't want Downing and Enrique against Walker and Lennon but don't really know what the alternative is beyond Robinson unless Wisdom is fit. I'd probably go:

But it'd take massive balls to drop Sterling and Gerrard. If Wisdom isn't fit then I'd probably flip a coin between Robinson at LB or Henderson at RB with Johnson LB and put Sterling in.

I would keep Enrique at LW, he seems a natural in getting into those goal scoring positions weirdly.

 

Front three should be:

 

Sterling Suarez Enrique

 

I would drop Gerrard, he doesnt deserve to be in the team at the moment on current form, he looks shot right now and could do with a rest.

 

Allen, Henderson and Suso/Shelvey for me even though I really like Sahin.

 

I would give Robinson his chance at left back if Wisdom isnt fit, the lad is quality.

 

Also I would have Assaidi on the bench so far ahead of Joe Cole that Cole would be about 200 miles away, preferable wearing a West Ham kit.

Lennon will destroy Downing if he plays. I'd be much more comfortable with Robinson's pace there.
