BDB Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Holly Johnson looks to be George Michael big now. - but still a great voice.
kop205 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Why Heston Blumenthal? Seems a bit random. Is he a red?
Billy Shears Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Heston ? Fair play to all involved, just pre ordered now. Sounds very very good.
smithdown Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Never liked this song before, but it doesn't sound the least bit corny any more. Just a great choice.
Molby Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I thought Paul Mcartney had decided to join, last minute
Molby Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Guitar solo that's still quite good though innit thought he was gonna swerve it
aka Dus Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Great stuff. Rory have you read anything about it being available on pre order in Ireland?
Raj Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Glad to say that my company is making the cd. A lot of work has gone into this so really hope it's a success for everyone
Rory Fitzgerald Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 Great stuff. Rory have you read anything about it being available on pre order in Ireland? No, haven't seen anything Dus but my brother (not a LFC fan) will be getting it as a stocking filler present for Christmas when its released on CD here.
scoose Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 that's still quite good though innit thought he was gonna swerve it glad he swerved the singing like if the olympics was anything to go by Joking aside fair play to one and all involved
Rory Fitzgerald Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) For want of better and more appropriate diction, I think its humbling that the charity song had its roots at Goodison with lyrics echoing family ties - its a beautiful bipartisan moment I think. johngibo YPC Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Why Heston Blumenthal? Seems a bit random. Is he a red? He just happened to be staying in the same hotel as them all the night before
Boca Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 He just happened to be staying in the same hotel as them all the night before Really? And someone thought "hey there's a famous chef available tomorrow, let's rope him in to do a bit of singing with us"?
johngibo YPC Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Really? And someone thought "hey there's a famous chef available tomorrow, let's rope him in to do a bit of singing with us"? Steve Rotherham asked him. Take it up with him

aka Dus Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Gives the campaign a profile in the stockbroker belt. Why didn't Gary Barlow do it, and he a massive red. His mate trumping him.

Rumours are they knocked him back because he is very close with the SunGeneral rules seem to be that non reds with links to the Sun were forgiven but reds with links to the sun were f***ed offMiles Kane was vetoed for that reason which pleases me greatly, the Wirral beaut Edited November 26, 2012 by johngibo YPC
