Might be a case for resting Suarez but who do you put in his boots ?

Interesting how Rodgers gets the best out of the squad for these next 4 games because they are all winnable but he'll need fresh legs. Swansea have a week long rest and they are at home so it's hard not to have an eye on the Sunday.

I'm of the a mind that suggests resting Suarez would be a good move, but there's also the fact that if we can secure the win here and the other game goes our way (which it should) then we're through.

 

I'd like to see Morgan or Yesil get a run out but i'm wary of this, not because i dont think they're good enough, but because they're basically finishers and we dont really create that many clear chances. Suarez can often bypass this issue because he can create things for himself half the time but obviously Yesil and Morgan are lightyears behind him and different kinds of players.

 

So while i dont doubt they could/would take chances, i'm not overly convinced we'd create enough for them.

Is the axis I'd like to see through the centre. Suso and Sahin because they have something to prove now to get back and could do with some opportunities in their favoured position, Yesil because Luis needs a rest.

 

Downing and Assaidi on the wings. Coates and Carra in central defence. Not too fussed about the rest.

I agree with DH's team except for resting Wisdom and Suarez (feck knows who I'd play up front though). I'd normally want Reina resting but he needs match fitness.

We need rest, but at the same time, with the Young Boys, we need to make sure it's us that is doing the f***ing and not them.

The last thing Suarez would want is to be rested in the form he's in.

 

Sorting out progress without needing an away result in Italy would be fantastic, which allows us to play the kids there and take it lightly.

There's just too many games between now and mid January where he has to play and be brilliant. Even if we buy someone good in January we are going to still be mostly reliant on Suarez. He should just play in the league from here on.

This is Young boys of Berne, play the kids, we're on a roll in the league, we have the safety net of an away at Udinese and everyone else being a bit crap in this group. League form is key now, if we keep this going, I agree with Carra, 4th is absolutely on.
