So, I'm wondering - is it all UEFA or do the football associations in each country get a say? For instance, could the FA in England decide that from now on, the top 3 teams in the premier league and the FA cup winner qualify for the CL? Or is it set in stone from UEFA?

It's up to each federation to nominate the teams that qualify to the CL , UEFA allocate a set number of places for each country

 

 

don't think UEFA are too keen on a domestic cup winner getting into the CL though, and rightly so IMO

Nevermind, I finally found it in the regulations. Seems UEFA has already decided how it's allocated.

It's silly that the Europa League winner doesn't get a CL spot.
