"The first is to win the Premiership, second is to win the Champions League, third is to qualify for the Champions League, fourth is to win the FA Cup, and fifth is to win the League Cup."

 

The Frenchman added: "I say that because if you want to attract the best players, they don't ask if you won the League Cup, they ask if you play in the Champions League."

 

He later assured shareholders that Arsenal are capable of winning trophies this season (translation: We can finish top four?)

Sounds to me like Wenger just moved the goalposts in true Hodgson style.

So when they get knocked out it's cause they aren't really trying and the other teams are, which is a funny old way to carry on and no mistake.

 

Or maybe they do try their best but they always get knocked out? By less ambitious clubs, is it?

True, true. It is nice to have something before, during or after at the ground, but most clubs can't even get around to serving everyone who wants something at halftime so may have their supply demand senses a little off
