fellafeen Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Gerrad and Johnson should be ok to play regardless of the re-scheduling but maybe it might knock them sideways a bit having to prep for two games in midweek. So maybe there is a temptation to put them on the bench. Might see something like Pepe (if fit)Wisdom Carra Skrtel Agger Allen Henderson Sahin Sterling Suarez Suso

johngibo YPC Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Play Johnson defoI would play Downing left back for this game if him and the manager have made upRobinson if not Front six picks itself for me as long as everyone is alright

We used to do Champions League games on a Wednesday so don't see a problem. All they need to do to prep for Saturday is etch a sketch their brains of anything the owl said to them.

The one thing we don't need is him getting a knock.
The_Adder Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Think the team picks itself at the moment. Wisdom hasn't done himself an harm, although he does get forward as much as Kelly did so I guess the only debate to be had would be to put Robinson left back with Johnson back at right back. I'd expect Assaidi to be pushing Suso for a starting spot soon too.
johngibo YPC Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 We used to do Champions League games on a Wednesday so don't see a problem. I agree we are getting a bit obsessed with it. Its nice to have a league cup team, but players can cope
CarraLegend Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Big game, the sort we f***ed up last season. Get the feeling a tiny minority of ours would love it if Reading won this aswell.
johngibo YPC Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Big game, the sort we f***ed up last season. Get the feeling a tiny minority of ours would love it if Reading won this aswell. I can only think of Paul Dalglish

Billy Talbot Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I really don't get this feeling with anyone , It's not like it was with Hodgson Certainly f***ing not.
floyd Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) Luis will get taken out by either Mariappa or Morrison, who will both be riding around on horse back with Morrison having a lance and Mariappa, will be wielding a battle axe, and the ref will send Luis off for bleeding profusely on the pitch. Sion Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I really don't get this feeling with anyone , It's not like it was with Hodgson I wouldn't go as far as to say they want us to lose, but there are a fair few on here who wouldn't be as disappointed as others if we did.I don't know why, its not like Kenny is going to come back. If Rodgers was sacked it'd probably be Martinez that comes in.
RBM Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 If Rodgers gets sacked we'd have a job convincing somebody to take over.
Cobs Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 If Rodgers gets sacked we'd have a job convincing somebody to take over. I'll do it !
Molby Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 If Rodgers gets sacked we'd have a job convincing somebody to take over. except Rafa, so we'll be fine (may have to march a bit)
muleskinner Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) Whats all this sacking nonsense?? exactly that, international breaks are tedious enough without all this s***. Edited October 17, 2012 by muleskinner
Hassony Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 If Rodgers gets sacked we'd have a job convincing somebody to take over. rubbish Italian clubs sack their manager every six weeks and they still manage to find new ones
Molby Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Whats all this sacking nonsense?? BR might get sacked
The_Adder Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 BR might get sacked Except that he wont and I'm all a bit confused.
Hassony Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Except that he wont and I'm all a bit confused. what do you mean he won't?' You think that he won't get sacked whatever position we finish at this season?
Conrad Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I'll do it ! what formation are you going to play?and are you happy to do a series 2 follow up to the multi-award winning being liverpool?
Cobs Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 what formation are you going to play? I call it the Spinning 10 - it's literally a revoultionary formation
Hassony Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I call it the Spinning 10 - it's literally a revoultionary formation you'll have to give up the prediction league, will be seen as conflict of interest
