fellafeen Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 With all this Suarez press and in general any press associated with Liverpool, it always seems the negative gets more 'hits' than the positive, as in more airtime, press coverage written and online. As with everything in the entertainment world, the more publicity you get the better, bad or good. Your brand is getting plastered all over the place. So it begs the question does all of the negative press liverpool get actually maintain our profile, results on the pitch-wise we should be nowhere near where we are in this respect. The general reaction by everyone associated with Liverpool club probably fuels the circus too so keep it up lads...

Knox_Harrington Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Your brand getting plastered all over the place, in a negative sense, is not good.Do you imagine the BBC is enjoying the Jimmy Savile stuff?Haha! The Director General is currently sitting there saying to his staff "the only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about."
Falconhoof Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Maybe the club should manufacture its own paedo scandal to feed off the extra bad PR.
Molby Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 as far as I can see, almost every time we get negative press it isn't our fault so what we need, at the risk of repeating myself, is to deal with it. We hired a PR bod didn't we? what the f*** for, is what i want to know can't someone tweet him and ask? you lot are all on twitter and you can't tweet Chang? talk about preferring problems to solutions get on your f***ing bikes, like Norman Tebbit and do something or I may flounce

Molby Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 time it took you to type that you could have signed up to twitter and done it yourself !I agree but I'm swerving twitter....too busy and need to replace faceless communication with country walks wherever possible - you know how it is thought someone else might fancy doing something useful and necessary, after all we all support Liverpool don't we?
Billy Shears Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 We are so slow out of the blocks when it comes to all this negativity aimed at our players etc.We should have released that statement from Brendan and co, asap, the timing what with the all new shiny football empire at St Georges Park, could have been better, weve basically let Pulis call the shots here and thats something to think about. He knew what he was doing, and we just faff about running round like headless chickens trying to muster up some sort of response. I agreed with every part of the clubs statement, but it was all a bit, well, slow and too late. Pr Cheng and co need to do their jobs better. And im still reeling at the lack of appeal for Jonjo's red card. Pathetic football club. Like a wet fanny being poked by a really floppy penis. No penetration, no satisfaction and no end product.
_00_deathscar Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Our PR/communications is f***ing dreadful and has been for a while.

Have you been this house in Crosby yet
Molby Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Have you been this house in Crosby yet I called them to make an appointment and they are still waiting to get hold of the owners so the plot thickens.....
David Hodgson Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Your brand getting plastered all over the place, in a negative sense, is not good.Do you imagine the BBC is enjoying the Jimmy Savile stuff? My missus said the revelations about Jimmy Saville actually only made him go up in her estimation. After the Louis Theroux thing, a few years back, most people had him down as all but a closet Fred West. These latest stories elevate him to the (relatively) less sordid status of the likes of Bill Wyman, Elvis Presley and the French.

There were always two rumours about Savile: that he was a child molestor, and that he shagged the corpses at Stoke Mandeville hospital. Now that one of them's turned out to be true...
sutty Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 There were always two rumours about Savile: that he was a child molestor, and that he shagged the corpses at Stoke Mandeville hospital. Now that one of them's turned out to be true... Wow. That's properly hyperbolic depravity. He's a good 3-5 standard deviations from the mean of that normal distribution at both ends.

Kvarme Ate My Food Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 he always raised a lot of charity money for stoke mandeville as well didn't he. basically funding his own morbid brothel. had his own room there.

Molby Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 he always raised a lot of charity money for stoke mandeville as well didn't he. basically funding his own morbid brothel. victimless crime
Stevie H Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 victimless crimehe seemed to like having sex with decomposing corpses and live twelve year olds. opposite ends of the spectrum there. wonder if he ever actually tried it with a living, breathing, adult woman? perhaps he did and that was only the start of it. . .
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 he seemed to like having sex with decomposing corpses I'm not sure we can say that at this stage.
Stevie H Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I'm not sure we can say that at this stage.lack of victim statements always being a bugger in those cases. i'm just spitballing.
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 victimless crime strange one isn't it?people will almost certainly be more outraged if that proves to be true than they are above the kiddy fiddling.
smithdown Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 victimless crime feel sorry for the embalmer tho
