Dan Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Pepe, Glen, Skrtel, Agger/Coates, Robinson, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Assaidi, Suarez, Sterling. Let's t*** em.
Sion Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) Yeah team picks itself really. Only two debatable would be Robinson and Sahin. Although Robinson is streets ahead of Enrique on current form. Sahin more dynamic than Henderson. That's assuming Borini is injured and Agger plays if fit. Edited September 26, 2012 by Sion
Chewie Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Its got nothing to do with players, formations, tiki taka, home, away, young players, old players... The only thing that matters, the game changer, the singular fact that will determine victory or defeat i s whether we see relaxed open necked trendy brendy or shirt and tie Mr Rodgers...casual Brendan, that's the ticket...
CarraLegend Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) I reckon Suso didnt start tonight as he is/was starting this but then Sahin and Assaidi were immense so f*** knows! He's got a load of teenagers giving him selection headaches, awesome. Edited September 26, 2012 by CarraLegend
Coyler Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I reckon Suso didnt start tonight as he is/was starting this but then Sahin and Assaidi were immense so f*** knows! He's got a load of teenagers giving him selection headaches, awesome. It is deadly, though. Genuine chance that he's going to say, "f*** it, they were awesome", and promote them. Loving it.
MFletcher Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Sahin and Assaidi couldn't justifiably be dropped.
Earl Hafler Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Coates, Robinson, Allen, Gerrard, Sahin, Suso, Suarez, Sterling I'd have that defence and midfield, but i'd be happy with any of the youngsters in attack. Adaptable, comfortable in most areas of attack, constantly pressing and closing down. Gonna be infectious throughout the club and hopefully spreads to the boardroom.
Conrad Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Robinson, Sahin, Coates and Assaidi to come in I hope
fellafeen Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 It is amazing how exciting things are after the worst start in whatever lots of years. But it can become infectious. We all remember the last time a club had a group of youngsters come in at the same time and the effect that had... WisdomRobinsonSusoSterlingYesilSinclair Added to the slightly older crop of CoatesKellyAllenHendersonShelveyBorini The future is bright, the future is most definitely red... Oh, Norwich, keep it simple Brendan play the kids...
Nottsgriff Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 (edited) We know the system now, we've played well against good teams without reward, but now our season starts here. Let's smash these. Win our next three and things are looking pretty good again, and there's no reason not to expect three wins against Norwich away and Stoke and Reading at home. Think he'll go with Reina, Wisdom, Johnson, Skrtel, Coates, Sahin, Allen, Gerrard, Assaidi, Suarez, Sterling myself. I think he's more likely to go with Wisdom than Robinson at full back since the latter's only had one game (though admittedly Wisdom's only had one more), and Enrique can't get picked given his recent form. Obviously Agger is in for Coates if fully fit, but I'd be surprised if he risked him if there's any doubt given his past record. Edited September 27, 2012 by Nottsgriff
honourablegeorge Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I reckon Suso didnt start tonight as he is/was starting this but then Sahin and Assaidi were immense so f*** knows! He's got a load of teenagers giving him selection headaches, awesome. Sahin needs games though - wouldn't think starting last night would rule him out in any way. Suspect the opposite - a good performance and two goals will have done him the world of good.
Kid Klopp Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Coates, Robinson, Allen, Gerrard, Sahin, Suso, Suarez, Sterling I'd have that defence and midfield, but i'd be happy with any of the youngsters in attack. Adaptable, comfortable in most areas of attack, constantly pressing and closing down. Gonna be infectious throughout the club and hopefully spreads to the boardroom. Assaidi has to start after that performance. Other than that, that's the team I want to see.
The_Adder Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Pepe, Glen, Skrtel, Agger/Coates, Robinson, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Assaidi, Suarez, Sterling. Let's t*** em. f*** that, unchanged from last night please (apart from Sterling in for Downing).
D.Boon Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Id play Assaidi and have Sahin play up top of the midfield. Suso to come on for Sahin when we are 3-0 up.
Owen1978 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 (edited) We need a settled defence, we are conceding too many...i want a proper LB at LB and try use Johnson in his best position with Sterling in front of him (the Norwich LB will be sh*tting bricks!!!) Reina Johnson, Skrtel, Coates, Enrique Allen, Hendo Stevie Sterling, Suarez, Assaidi Edited September 27, 2012 by Owen1978
Kid Klopp Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Robinson looked a lot more settled and composed than Enrique has of late.
uppsala Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Robinson looked a lot more settled and composed than Enrique has of late. Ide start them all against norwich
richwilks Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 -------------------Reina Johnson - Skrtel - Coates - Robinson --------------Allen - Sahin -----------------Gerrard -----Sterling - Suarez - Assaidi ....and people like Suso and Wisdom can feel aggrieved that they aren't playing. There's a wealth of talent at this club now and Rafa and his staff should be walking around with a massive smile on their faces this morning.
Knox_Harrington Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Fitness questions over Robinson and Sahin at this stage. I wouldn't start Enrique though.
The Hitman Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Fitness questions over Robinson and Sahin at this stage. I wouldn't start Enrique though. We got any good LBs in the U12s?
