PhilM Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I've got a Sky+ HD box and an HD TV running at 1080i using an HDMI cable which was supplied by Sky when they installed it. When I'm watching HD channels, my TV keeps going black for a second and then coming back, with the resolution displayed in the corner as if it was changing resolution or aspect ratio. It's not changing resolution or aspect, it keeps "changing" to the same one. This happens every 15-20 mins or so. It doesn't seem to happen when I watch non HD channels. I've checked on the Sky box and it was set to automatic output resolution. I've changed it to 1080i. It still does it. Do you reckon this is a problem with the TV, the cable, or the Sky+ box? It seems fine except when I watch HD channels on Sky. I'm secretly hoping that it is the TV so that I can get the wife to agree to a bigger better one.
