As it kicks off proper tonight, it really hits home how long we've been away from this competition. The other mainstays of this competition, Madrid (9), Milan (7), Us (5), Bayern (4), Barcelona (4) and Ajax (4) are never out of this for more than one season if at all. Instead of this constant longing to get back in it, there should be an concerted effort to get a mindset into the current set of players that you are playing for one of the super powers and it is expected of you.

Let's concentrate on avoiding relegation first and then see what we can kick on and do. I think we may struggle to get into the Europa next season the way we're playing.
