I have to admit, it's really nice to see Downing getting so many mentions. He wasn't good for us last year, but much as people say he's spineless I don't think it was through lack of effort, think he's just very much a confidence player.

I thought Henderson was f***ing ace tonite. Surprised to see Jonjo feature ahead of him in so many MOTM nominations

 

Thought he was a touch rusty in the first half, but improved as the game went on. He's clearly got really good vision, and he knows how to measure passes brilliantly. I really think if we're patient with him he's going to be very, very good in a couple of years.
