Andy-oh-six Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 All the best to the lad for the season. Looks a talented player.
Dominus Maximus Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Ok, cool, this is great. But, we have to discuss how this works when we lose him again in 12 months. The upside is that we now should be able to deal with Gerrard possibly missing games this season. Maybe next year Hendo or Shelvey can step up. Maybe this can help push Charles out the door? What happens if Sahin becomes boss?

smithdown Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Rodgers must be certain he's undroppable for this deal to be worthwhile.
lfc4eva99 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Any details of there being any clauses that can make this move permanent if we pay x amount?

DJS Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 So then, will we now see Gerrard playing as the right-sided forward?

Sahin had been expected to join Arsenal but Liverpool's willingness to pay a greater proportion of his £120,000-per-week salary has turned the situation in their favour. Real have accepted Liverpool's offer to pay 70 per cent of Sahin's wages to take him on loan for the rest of the season. Arsenal had been prepared to pay only 60 per cent. Swipe Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 With Allen and Sahin in, midfield looks as strong as it's been in a good few years.

Dan Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 5m euros I expect plus £70k-£80k a week wages. A lot less than the annual outlay we're forking out on Downing & Carroll.

Red Kent Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Will there be a few high profile casualties because of this deal. Can't play them all.
