Is it hosted by Steve Claridge and Mark fvckin Bright?

"The special programme, presented by Ian Payne, features interviews with the club chairman Tom Werner, new manager Brendan Rodgers and players Joe Cole and Jose Enrique."

them two c*nts and robbie savage will probably be lurking somewhere in the background though, being lovingly fellated by colin murray.

"Joe, what's it like to be loaned out for a year by Liverpool?"

"It's not like being loaned out by any other club, Ian. As soon as I walked out of the door, I knew I'd left somewhere special. The fans, the staff, the history of the club, everything told me that I'd have to think about getting some of my furniture into long-term storage and declaring my Bentley a SORN."

I have a 6-a-side game at the same time as this tonight.

Will it be available on iPlayer tomorrow does anyone know?

Should be I'd have thought. Most BBC output is

What happened to the podcasts? Can't see them anymore.

Is on iTunes too

Listening to it now. Couple of things that leap out immediately -

- Describing Kenny as "not their man" seems odd, given the new owners hired him

- On the sacking of Commoli, Werner says it wasn't just the prices paid out on the players we bought but also about the players we gave up on that went on to be a success somewhere else. Phil Jones was the only one I could think of, maybe there were others

- Work on the stadium is ongoing, but they don't want to say anything too early. They want everything in place before going public.

Would be interested on what the critics have to say about the Werner interview with Juliet Ferrington (seemingly conducted in a wind tunnel)

Thing that struck me most was just how poor the standard of questioning was. What Ben Smith or Garry Gillespie added to the discussion I've absolutely no idea. Ian Payne is not a bad live presenter but he's a pretty terrible interviewer.

Certainly lacks any real insight. Have kinda tuned him out

Gillespie in particular added nothing of relevance.

Nor did Ben Smith.

Still not really sure what the point was. We're one of six (is that a record?) Prem clubs with a new manager. Why are we the ones starting a new era when none of the others are?

Good.

Can understand the Kenny not being their man thing.

Looking at our recent signings, the manager and his record and the recent departure of our greatest living legend from the club I think it is a fair shout to say we are starting a new era. The other clubs are pretty much coasting along with a "same as usual, just a different name in the manager's job" type effort.

Maybe it is just that I pay more attention to us than other clubs, but I see this season as almost like they are trying to wipe clean the last 20 years and rebooting to when Kenny left last time. New, fresh ideas from a fresh-faced manager and bringing in young, relatively unknown signings.

I may just be reading too much into things though, but that doesn't stop me being full of a kind of fresh optimism for the coming season that I haven't felt for years. New era here we come.
