Steven Gerrard-150 goals for Liverpool

We're in for a good season if he stays that far forward again which looks to be the plan given we'll have Allen/Lucas and Rodgers spoke of him in a front four.

The best player I've ever seen in this country.

Ah, that included the goal against Brighton which I'm fairly certain was given as an own goal in the end. I think Stevie is now up to 149.

Inexplicably disallowed a goal vs. Stoke. Makes it 150. :P

lfc.tv and liverpoolhistory.net both have him down as having scored 150.

I was just thinking that. Should pass him you would have thought.

What a player he is.

What a superb collection.

One think strikes me though. As he has got older, his goals, by and large, have become less Hollywood amd more clinical. Talk about natural finishers, he is one. Stick him upfront Brendan, let the younger lads do the donkey work and he'll bang in 25 a season for you.

f*** me almost every single goal is absolutely amazing. Even the 'simpler' ones, where he just bursts pasts players in the box as if they aren't there and then finishes it off with a finish as cool as you like. The headers too...still think we wasted him on corners. Could have had 5-10 more a season just from staying in the box during corners!

He really is the player of his generation. Simple.

11:15: The making of Lucas.

Him and Torres were the best strike partnership in the world at that time.

Legend - proper legend. Incredible collection of goals. If he keeps taking pens reckon he'll get past Fowler.

Also nice to see that someone called Hodgson had a very positive influence on the club...

Can't be too many players with a better collection of goals than that.

This. There are some absolute belters scored by him. His top 30 goals collection is unbelievable.

He is my 14 year old son's icon, as Kenny was to me.

My Dad's was Roger Hunt, and My Grandad's was Tom Finney.

He is in very esteemed company, and sits comfortably with all of them

Yeah - when you compare the quality of his corners to his aerial ability, he should have been in the box much more often.
