Wonderful people.

 

Was in a town earlier and a road was cordoned off for traffic. So we parks up, head towards the area on foot. 150 yards further on and there's tape across the streets, a couple of ambulances in the middle of the road and a woman with a clipboard heading towards me.

" Can i help ? " she says in a tone that suggests she just doesn't want to

" We need to get through there "

" You can't. You'll have to go round "

" But it's within the taped area "

" Then you'll have to wait "

" It's 50 yards. Is this a crime scene ? "

" No but i cannot let you through "

" For the sake of 50 yards ? "

" FOR THE SAKE OF A MAN'S LIFE !!! "

 

Some of them have a God complex.
