Teams with new coaches

I thought we could talk about other teams changes during the off season here... So here comes the first news:

 

Ståle Solbakken just announced as new head coach at Wolves.

Did great at FC Copenhagen, but had a right mare at FC Köln (which is the biggest circus in Germany anyway).

Think he will have them up in the PL again fairly quick.

And he is a huge, huge LFC fan...

Fell out with board, players and the fans if my memory of reading Sid Lowe a month or two back is correct.

As seemingly always happens at Latin clubs - tension between the board and the manager who was picking his own team rather than the one they wanted or the fans wanted. Some of the senior players (David Albelda being one, and he's probably the last player you want to upset if you want to have the dressing room on your side) got involved and it all got very messy.

 

I think Emery has just been appointed manager of one of the Moscow clubs, Spartak maybe?

Emery left because he's been there for a while and has gotten stale. Issues with Llorente over-egged a bit, I think. Fans have gotten fed up of losing semi-finals and Emery being a bit cowardly.

 

Obviously Villas-Boas situation has changed, Baldini seemingly preferring going back to Montella.
