Everton are 1 point ahead of us. If they lose a draw will send us above them. If they draw we need a win. If they win then f*** it the season is over anyway.

 

Could be the last goodbye for a few players on Sunday as well. Maxi almost certainly. As much as it breaks my heart Dirk might be off as well.

 

I'd be pretty tempted to go with the largely same team from Tuesday but maybe get Agger back in central defence for Carragher.

Strangely enough, Henderson and Downing could also be contenders for the wing back positions especially if Lucas was available in midfield.

- We have three quality centre backs.

- We have no good wide players really

- Gerrard gets a free role
