Molby Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 so there it is: ST in the Upper Cent; very few gobschites around that spec these days - been a big improvement over the years includes access to the much coveted Shankly or Paisley lounges, free parking and match program too all Europa League and other cup matches included, guaranteed away tickets and semi final and final tickets for all comps not just that but you'd get to sit next to one of the most well liked and respected posters on here - a man that people regularly tune in to listen to - so you wouldn't be on your Bill well? btw mods I asked Vic if I could post this here as time is of the essence and the ticket forum doesn't get many visits these days (and no new threads can be started anyway) so hope this is ok
Bootser Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I'll start the bidding at fifty bob. Would I have to sit with you?
Molby Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 I'll start the bidding at fifty bob. Would I have to sit with you? sorry, forgot to add 'no time wasters' but for the record it's not me you'd sit next to, no
Falconhoof Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Is this the £2500 ticket you mentioned in the other thread ?
Molby Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 Is this the £2500 ticket you mentioned in the other thread ? not sure of the price as it hasn't bee set yet, but it was about £2400 this season I reckon I could get the VAT back so it would be about £2000 next year, on that basis
scoose Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 not sure of the price as it hasn't bee set yet, but it was about £2400 this season I reckon I could get the VAT back so it would be about £2000 next year, on that basis very tempted boss but I get nearly all tickets I need including semi's and finals so cant justify the wedge
Molby Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 very tempted boss but I get nearly all tickets I need including semi's and finals so cant justify the wedge thing is, if you took the ticket, others could benefit from the ones you are getting now - people close to you, people that you love perhapshave you considered that? also, I am under instructions not to sell it to 'some k****ead' and you fit the profile of not being a k****ead pretty well - would be a shame to waste that kind of quality
Billy Dane Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 enjoying the sales techniques employed in this thread.
scoose Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 enjoying the sales techniques employed in this thread. quality init Are these from one of these books you like to read Molby mate? The interesting thing about the 2 grand price is that its not too bad value if you can get to all the matches you're eligible for. 19 league games say 3 in each cup=28 thats about 70 quid a game which gets you access to the lounge and guranteed semi and final tickets Problem is I cant and me mates are all good for tickets so its a non-starter for me but reckon someone should be interested (spare wedge allowing of course)
Hus Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 What about shared ownership between 3-4 people? Being from down south (Berks - yes i know ooter!) I need to think about logistics and confirm if its viable, too much going on to make it every week but if there are a few of us it could work well. Anyone else up for it?

Anyone else up for it? that gives me an idea try this for size peeps: 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment, with parking, in the leafy suburb of Aigburth (10 minutes drive from town and next door to Sefton Park) available from August 2012 to May 2013 £125 per week AND THIS INCLUDES SAID TICKET you pay £2k up front and get the keys and the seasie - no admin fees, no deposit, just pay a further £80 p.w. for the apartment and if you want to let it go, one week's notice will do

Tickets are already far too expensive. Get yourself some curry and chips from The Golden and save yourself £1500

Billy Dane Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 so you're not guaranteed a ticket for the Europa Cup Final as well? Disappointing.
Molby Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 so you're not guaranteed a ticket for the Europa Cup Final as well? Disappointing. yes you are and it's in the Dam.............think on
schmuckdonald Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 If people were possibly interested in a shared/pooled ownership then I'd be interested. I think if I spent all that money on a season ticket my missus would bash my head in with a blunt instrument.
scoose Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Its an extravagant use of money. Tickets are already far too expensive. Get yourself some curry and chips from The Golden and save yourself £1500 I agree but some people value the fact that you get guaranteed semi and final tickets. would have thought you'd be one of them but hey ho. Others might like access to the lounge (i'm not arsed about that tbh I go elsewhere drinking) and like I said earlier I'm already sorted and happy makes no difference to me just never broke down the costs of one of these before. Me mates brother had one similar and ended up spewing it when he was skint. I went a couple of times up there and thought it was ok. Its expensive but it depends what you value mate and if you're flush. Also, if you get to 2 finals like this year the cost per game drops, then again if someone like Northampton turns you over early it goes up That's the gamble
Sion Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 and miss 2 cup finals, don't forget that bit Could have got two tickets from a tout for less than £1500
Molby Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) Could have got two tickets from a tout for less than £1500 good lad, sound economics there Edited May 7, 2012 by Molby

Billy Dane Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 If I could get a job in Liverpool i'd be all over that like gravy on a pie! Uh oh, expect a job offer to be thrown in shortly.....
Molby Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 If I could get a job in Liverpool i'd be all over that like gravy on a pie! as what, IT bod?
Swipe Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 as what, IT bod? IT isnt really my strong point! Sorry - I think I've strayed into "time waster" territory here. I'd just be well up for a move to the city if I could find work. My girlfriend too. But again - this is your thread here!
