This is a dead rubber for us but THIS MATTERS NOW. Let's ****ing have them. They'll have tin foil FA Cups, Torres starting and Champions League songs. Let's put them in their place. Smash 'em. End their hopes for a top 4 finish, put pressure on them before the CL final, contribute to some sort of financial pressure for them. They may have won that match the counts, they may have a bigger one on the horizon, a 5-0 loss for them may count for nothing but what would a win do? Help boost them, increase the all-important 'invincibilty' feeling, have them mocking us.

 

This could be the last game for Reina, Maxi, Kuyt & Carragher. Maybe more. Maybe even Kenny. The end-of-season lap of honour will be done to a 3/4 full stadium anyway - if we lose it'll be less. The departees deserve more. Put some effort in and the players will respond.

 

Poke Carroll with a cattle-prod and have him continue where he left off. Support him with Suarez, Gerrard & Sterling. Stick Downing and Spearing in the stands. Get at them. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. Go for glory. And break Terry's c***ing legs.

I'm guessing it'll be slow, pedestrian, disorganised, Gerrard will be too far back, Kenny will just stand there arms folded for 65 minutes until Clarke comes over to have a word, the pace will pick up slightly before becoming statuesque and the Chelsea players will whizz round twice just before we finish.
