LondonLiverpoolFan Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 But not sure I like the idea of putting ourselves out there like this.... http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/lfc-to-star-in-tv-world-first
Gomez Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Oh christ, does anyone ever come out of these things looking good?
drvegapunk Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 It'll either be brilliant or completely embarassing. But, they need to change the title, 'Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone' just sounds rubbish.
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Oh christ, does anyone ever come out of these things looking good? That's my fear too....
Gomez Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 That's my fear too.... Well run businesses and everyone getting along does not make good TV
Cam Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Behind closed doors, FFS. I'm expecting the marketing, PR and media departments to come out of this looking like new episodes of The Office.
johngibo YPC Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Oh christ, does anyone ever come out of these things looking good? These American shows are done in a completely different way. They won't really be looking for dramaIts much more prevelant in America and very well done
Gomez Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 How long before the rumour "Comolli was sacked because he didn't want to be in it. "
schmuckdonald Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 As Gibo said, this is a more commonly done thing over there and are generally very good.
Cam Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I heard Comolli was sacked because he didn't want to be in it...
Boca Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 It'll either be brilliant or completely embarassing. But, they need to change the title, 'Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone' just sounds rubbish. I'm not sure "Our Liverpool: NWA" is the wisest of titles in "the current environment" either
Swipe Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 These American shows are done in a completely different way. They won't really be looking for dramaIts much more prevelant in America and very well done That was my first thought. It's not a British thing so they won't be looking for drama. The Americans know what they're at with this sort of thing. Be funny if someone in our squad turns out to be a David Brent, though, and headbutts a tea leady or someone.
Stupid Sexy Flanders Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Episode 4, Jay has been having problems with a bully. Today the crew follow Jay to the local school to tell the principal that one of his students has been calling Jay names. The student (cannot be named for legal reasons) promises not bully Jay again but when the adult's backs are turned he makes a throat cutting gesture to Jay. He won't sleep easy tonight.
impware Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 But, they need to change the title, 'Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone' just sounds rubbish. Desperate Scousesides has a ring to it.
JGL Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 If it's anything like the NHL 24/7 it could be fantastic. Excellent marketing opportunity for the club as well.
Davvo Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 These American shows are done in a completely different way. They won't really be looking for dramaIts much more prevelant in America and very well done Yep, these 24/7 things he's done before are very much positive PR docs.
Billy Dane Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Anyone NOT going to watch it? Potentially a great piece of publicity for the club, kick off with the FA cup and then leading into a new season.... End it on a cliff hanger
drvegapunk Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I'm not sure "Our Liverpool: NWA" is the wisest of titles in "the current environment" either It's ok, 'cos the theme tune will be "f*** tha FA" Desperate Scousesides has a ring to it. I quite like Woodwork Empire
Gomez Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Anyone NOT going to watch it? Potentially a great piece of publicity for the club, kick off with the FA cup and then leading into a new season.... End it on a cliff hanger Of course, but out of obligation. You'll have to watch it, because everything will reference it.Hope those saying it will be a positive PR piece are right, I've been banging about how our PR dept don't seem to do much.
