Made the mistake of thinking we'd be better off without the EL this season but it's just not the same without LFC in europe, even if it's the lesser comp. And the truth is we need all those extra games to keep the fitness levels up and utilise the whole squad, including some valuable experience for the youngsters. I think tactically it's important for Kenny and Clarke aswell.

There's an art to proper rotation. One Kenny hasn't got right this season an awful lot. Need to get to grips with that in the EL. The early games should be used to rest some key players but maintain a selection that will gain qualification.

It's defo been really quite poor lately with the exception of Barca and to an extent, Real. And the decline coincides with us being out.
