carrafan Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) ReinaFlanagan Skrtel Coates EnriqueKuyt Gerrard Spearing DowningCarroll Suarez Johnson, Agger and Bellamy are training, apparently. One or more could be fit come Sunday. The team should have their head in the game after being embarassed at QPR and Wigan. We also tend to do better, the better the opposition is. Epic Swindle Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I'd throw Agger straight back in tbh. Can't find any optimism at the moment, if it goes to the recent script it will be another struggle and we'll end up in 8th.
carrafan Posted March 28, 2012 Author Posted March 28, 2012 I'd throw Agger straight back in tbh. If he's fit, definitely. Same goes for Bellamy and Johnson as well. Our players have a lot to do with Kenny's name being associated with the sack last week and have to have the motivation to give all they've got for 90 minutes. I actually want to see Sterling on the field for 60 minutes against a team thats not just defending but thats probably not going to happen. Be great if it did though.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I'd throw Agger straight back in tbh. Can't find any optimism at the moment, if it goes to the recent script it will be another struggle and we'll end up in 8th. Re Agger, not at the risk of him suffering a re-lapse and missing Everton. At this stage we need to be thinking of the Semi Final - if he is over his injury and needs minutes, then yes. If not, then we have 2 other games before Everton.
baz2107 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) ReinaJohnson* Skrtel Coates Aurelio Gerrard Spearing ShelveySuarez Carroll Bellamy If Johnson not fit Kelly, if Kelly not fit Flanagan. Johnson normally takes 2-3 games to get back to his best so I would play him asap to get him right for the semi, Aurelio has been on bench last 2 may as well use him whilst he's working!! If Bellamy is out then Downing Edited March 28, 2012 by baz2107
jimbolala Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Wouldnt mind seeing Carroll on the end of a few Aurelio crosses. Play 5 3 2 with carrol and suarez up front
Swipe Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I'm being optimisitic and hoping i'm surprised and we pull our fingers out and have a go.
Case Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Newcastle like to play football. This suits us. 2-0 to us (Skrtel, Suarez)
Farmer's Tan Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 we will play 4-5-1 and be more concerned about not losing than winning, 2-0 Newcastle. We might have a go near the end and actually look like a football team and nick one.
ChrisC Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 we will play 4-5-1 and be more concerned about not losing than winning, 2-0 Newcastle. We might have a go near the end and actually look like a football team and nick one. Why do we always start playing some lovely stuff at 2-0 down? Gerrard seems to find another gear from somewhere and we start playing with some urgency, shame we don't seem to ever start that way especially away from home. f*** off football
Woodsyla Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Carroll has to start this one doesn't he, surely he's going to turn up against these.
Frosty Jack Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Carroll has to start this one doesn't he, surely he's going to turn up against these. not sure, something tells me he might bottle it, too much of a fan.
CarraLegend Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Nah, we'll score, they're playing reserve centre backs and we are a goalscoring machine now.
honourablegeorge Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Carroll has to start this one doesn't he, surely he's going to turn up against these. Carroll not starting the last two league games has all sorts of alarm bells going off in my head.
Gambit Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 We badly need Agger and Johnson back. Not liking the idea of Ben Arfa, Cisse and Ba having a go at our back 4 if Carra, Coates and/or Flanno are in there.
Kahnee Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I'd play Robinson. Start Fabio and he'll hobble off after 30 minutes
Swipe Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 @Richard_Buxton_: Kenny Dalglish says #LFC face a two-week wait on the extent of Charlie Adam's injury. On Maxi Rodriguez's absence: "he had diarrhoea" Still should have played him - no-one else is any good at runs in our team.

Swipe Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 that's a s*** joke by your high standards Ha! It was better in my head. Only slightly though.
Swipe Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Need to win this. Football is really depressing me right now.
RBM Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I just don't see us winning this. I really need to work on my visualisation skills
