I was thinking about the free kick at QPR near the end, what with us playing QPR.

We were chatting about it in the pub before the match & as one of the lads said you expected his free kicks to go in. Not hoped. Expected.

"It was like getting a pelanty" he said.

He was right. It was.

It's the freekick against Arsenal that does it for me. Absolutely measured to perfection.

f***, that's depressing....

Moreso to think that every free kick now has that STUPID f***ing tap to the striker... which is soooo successful

Yeah it was tremendous. But then most of what he did was tremendous, and he did a lot.

Yeah our free kicks are horrific now. I cant remember when we last scored from one. Gerrard vs the Mancs at Anfield?

We've not had theis video posted for, ooh it must be nearly a month, so lets have it again.

It always cheers me up.

Great crossing, midfielders running beyond the forwards, NEAR POST runs...

I love that FA cup semi FK.

Hated Darren Anderton for the rest of his career based on that game. His smug lantern jawed face properly pissed me off.

I lost a shoe in the celebrations.

Thus my ecstasy at the equaliser was suddenly tempered by thoughts of "WTF am I going to do? There's a day out on the p*ss to follow, I'm going to have to leave the ground in one shoe. Wander around North London in one shoe trying to find a shoe shop. Buy some new shoes etc."

Then we attacked again, there was another surge & miraculously I looked down & saw my shoe.

I almost celebrated like we had scored again.

He's talking mind-numbingly good sense on twitter.

Going over head of those replying to him.

Getting some stick for some morons for only talking about racism. Said hes only on twitter to talk about football and racism.

@officialbarnesy Been trying to get this kind of discussion in influentialplaces, but no luck,so this is where it has to be.
