Tosh Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 The BBC reporting that another transport union has rejected a bonus of £850 for it's members for working the Olympics I know some railcos and some unions have a bonus agreed, and others not. Why should there be a bonus? Driving a full train is not more difficult than driving an empty one, running a signal system is not more tricky with full trains. Platform staff may well have to deal with more folk (at Stratford in particular) but I thought that there were an army of volunteers to help visitors and spectators get info I'm happy that folk may be getting a bonus and benefitting from the Olympics in some way, but struggling to work out what it's for... other than doing the job
