BT Infinity

Anyone on here use the BT infinity fibre optic broadband at all?

 

Was wondering what folk who do thought of the quality of service and whether folk were really getting near the advertised 40mb/100mb advertised speeds?

 

Also is the wireless router they give any good (wireless range etc).

 

Reason I ask is I am currently with sky broadband as usually get rubbish speeds due to living too far from the exchange and for some reason we don't get cable in the town where I live. I know sky are also going to be doing the fibre optic thing but from what I can gather its going to be a fair while yet (BT infinity is out in my area 31/03) and you have to be a sky customer also (I want to sack them off you see). Plus the router sky always supply is a pile of s****.
