Stamps

I've inherited a fairly huge stamp collection and I've got no idea of what to do with it. My mum spoke to an auctioneer who wanted to put them in a sale for about £20, but they have to be worth more than that - one of the first day sets that I've looked up is on ebay Buy It Now for £8 and there are about 50 of those things as well as other stuff.

 

I'm probably going to have to actually sit down and catalogue it all, but what do I do after that? I'd like to maximise profit obviously, so I don't really want to sell them to a dealer. So should I package them somehow or sell individually?
