Its a behind the scenes documentary about QPR and them wanting to get into the PL, OMG the chumps in charge, it defies belief.

At one point the owner is on the phone to the assistant manager telling him to put on another striker - LOL

Lets hope they get relegated

Amit, the guy who ended up in charge seems a good bloke though, with the interests of QPR at heart. Him turning to Paladini and saying 'if you want to criticize the players you go back there, you don't sit next to me' was great.

That was hardly a shock, surely...

Thought he might shy away from being a total a***** while the camera was rolling.

Its not the same owners

I guess so...I didnt watch the last 45 mins so must have missed the part where they werent owned by total w*****s.

Thankfully not :D

He came across as a modern Sky fan - look at the result, not the performance. That bit during the run-in to the title when he was slagging off Warnock after a draw summed him up beautifully.

Amit Bhatia comes across as a class guy who knows how to deal with people, Briatore and Ecclestone as wheeler dealers who got on by f***ing people over.

Football has a long way to go, it's got to bottom out.

When dwarf billionaire ecclestone went in the dressing room and moaned about the expenditure on energy drinks I thought he was having a laugh. What a horrible little man he is, it shone through even in his fairly brief appearances in this.

He also paid for the documentary to be made and apparently had final edit approval (despite what was said in the introduction) so its hardly surprising it made him look good.

One of the things that stood out for me was their interaction with the fans. Flavio Briatore's saying that if he didn't get the name of the fans who'd been slagging him off, he'd sell the club was probably the most obvious but the obsequious way in which some of the beer bellied middle aged, fans talked to them was equally awful. Its seems to becoming common for some football fans to behave in ways towards players (and managers/club owners) that's very similar to how pre-teen girls follow boy-bands. I find the cult-like obsessiveness, the assumption of false familiarity (referring by first names etc), the 'I'll scratch your eye's out if you say anything bad about my man' tone of some discussions and the blind adoration just bewildering. Its fine if your five. Its part of growing up. Coming from anyone over twelve and its the makings of a psychological case study.

Fans invest their heart & soul and a lot of money in football clubs and feel they are being snatched away from them, surely you get that?

What's wrong with calling someone, for instance, Kenny?

Briatore is a tosser and deserves all the stick he was getting.

Sorry but how on earth do you make the leap between what I wrote and thinking I do not understand how much people value the club they support.

the sneery way you describe the QPR fans behaviour could be levelled at any set of supporters anywhere, you may think you are above it all but If you think its weird you havent got much of a handle on how people feel about the teams they support and how it makes them behave.

Watched this on iPlayer the other evening. Hugely entertaining.

What I would give to have had this kind of fly-on-the-wall view of the Hicks-Gillett era at Anfield. Can you imagine the kind of conversations that went on behind the scenes? Would probably make Briatore look the absolute model of restraint and dignity.

Would have made a fantastic watch that.

I couldn't bring myself to watch it. It'd be like watching the girl of your dreams being rodgered by your two worst enemies

On a similar note I avoided watching the European Cup Final between United and Chelsea because I thought it'd be like watching two people I hate knocking s*** out of each other only the winner then got to sleep with the woman I loved.

Presumptuous prat.
