Ombudsam Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I'd go Reina Johnson Carra Skrtel Enrique Gerrard Spearing Adam Suarez Carroll Bellamy Only variation would be downing for Andy. I think we'll lose though.
Epic Swindle Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 You should be banned for 8 games for this.
Cobs Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Expecting StevieG to be out so Henderson comes in. I'd deffo play Spearing. Same back 5 then Kuyt Hendo Jay Scapegoat Bellamy Suarez Carroll & Downing on the bench for later.
Rimbeux Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Can't see Downing being dropped now. Kuyt or Bellamy with Suarez at a guess
Epic Swindle Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 ReinaKelly Carra Skrtel JoseSpeo He-who-leaves-gapsHendo Kuyt DowningSuarez
Cunny Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Kuyt and Suarez played 90 minutes tonight.Bellamy played 74 minutes. I reckon Carroll starts.
Romario Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Can't see Downing being dropped now. Kuyt or Bellamy with Suarez at a guessArsenal are not lower league. Downing benched.
épieur Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Surely people must realise by now Sion is too gutless to start a thread where we might risk not winning and just get on it with. Even ff it actually made a difference that is. Nice one, Sammya. With Stevie and agger out, I'd have to go for ReinaGloJo-Skrtel-Carra-EnriqueKuyt-Spearing-Adam-DowningSuarez-Carroll As much as I'd like to start Bellamy I'd want to reward Kuyt and Downing and I think they are best suited for the shape I'd want us to have against Arsenal going into the game. Then have maxi and bellers coming on to slap them down in the second half the way Meireles and Suarez did at the Emirates. Given our rightwing at the moment, I'd like to see Glojo there in front of Kelly, but Arsenal is really not the game to try it. Especially not since we already have one forced change in the backline.
YNWAdownunder Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Why would you not play Carroll in a game where their defence is well known for struggling against big stronger opponents......... I'd go Reina Johnson Carra Skrtel Enrique Gerrard Spearing Adam Suarez Carroll Bellamy Only variation would be downing for Andy. I think we'll lose though. Wow good optimism their mate........have you been watching Arsenal play? they are very inconsistant so I wouldnt read too much into the tottenham victory
Cooldude Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 No Agger and Gerrard would be tough, and Carra doesn't tend to play well against Arsenal over the years. Could really be a tough one, and a must win, too Pearce is a f***ing c***, f***ing massive c***
YNWAdownunder Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 No Agger and Gerrard would be tough, and Carra doesn't tend to play well against Arsenal over the years. Could really be a tough one, and a must win, too Pearce is a f***ing c***, f***ing massive c*** maybe no GJ either
RBM Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Surely people must realise by now Sion is too gutless to start a thread where we might risk not winning and just get on it with. Even ff it actually made a difference that is. He's being rotated to give him a rest. He's played and won us a lot of important games recently.
Beardsley Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 ------------------ The Pepmeister Johnson -------- Skrtel --------------- Carra ------------ Enrique ------------------------------- Spearing Suarez --------- The Dirkmeister -------- Shelvey --------- Bellamy -------------------------- Carroll
schmuckdonald Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 ------------------ The Pepmeister Johnson -------- Skrtel --------------- Carra ------------ Enrique ------------------------------- Spearing Suarez --------- The Dirkmeister -------- Shelvey --------- Bellamy -------------------------- Carroll Ruddy hell!
cymrococh Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 haha! Beardsley's just out there. He's not afraid to try new things. New things are what he's all about.
Senrab_nhoj Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Kuyt & Shelvey centre mid ? wowI really do wonder sometimes over people's sanity
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Kuyt & Shelvey centre mid ? wowGet it right, its the dirkmeister
surf Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Kuyt & Shelvey centre mid ? wow it's spearing in the middle on his own and 4 behind carroll
Falconhoof Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 it's spearing in the middle on his own and 4 behind carroll He's shored up his defence with 2 centre backs this time though. It's the pragmatic side of beardsley
Beardsley Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 He, he. I try to think in new ways, yes. How else are we going to develop and move forward? And good you take it in good humor, since I'm not all that serious about it.
fred milne Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 ReinaGloJo-Skrtel-Carra-EnriqueKuyt-Spearing-Adam-DowningSuarez-CarrollThat looks sensible. I might be tempted to start with Kelly at RB and Johnson at LB, as Enrique's form has gone off the boil. In an ideal world, we'd see Coates play rather than Carra but I suspect that's more likely to happen 12 months down the line.
