According to a guy from the UN.

 

That headline is infuriating for starters. The UN drugs agency fella said Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester have these areas - so why the hell does the headline just say Liverpool? I saw this s**** on Facebook that eleven of my friends had read this article - most not from Liverpool - and it's that kind of b******s that perpetuates the stereotype.

 

Really winds me up stuff like this.

 

Putting that aside, what are people's thoughts on this? Some places are bad, and there was another shooting in Fazak yesterday, but to liken these areas to Brazilian favelas is ridiculous.

 

Wouldn't walk the dog in Crocky at night though, like.
