Jim D Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Immensely proud for the boss tonight, he's been back just over a year and has delivered the clubs first piece of silverware in almost 6 years, I f***ing love him!! Kenny now joins an elite list of managers who have won the League Cup, FA Cup and League Title. It's his first piece of silverware at the club for almost 22 years when he won the League title in 1990. That surely has got to be a record for winning a trophy with the same club 22 years apart, amazing, would like to know whether that is because I can't think of any other manager who has done that!
Logic Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Has he won every domestic trophy now both as a player and as a manager?
Gomez Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 So, we've kept up that record of Liverpool managers not appointed by Purslow winning trophies in there first season, in living memory?
Keita Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Has he won every domestic trophy now both as a player and as a manager? Now onto Europe.
Epic Swindle Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Might have been hard work today but the record will state we won and that's all that counts. The guy has always been a winner.
charlie clown Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 And extends our record number of wins in that particular competition as well. Breaking our own records is always good. I want wone of those '8' t-shirts they were wearing at the end
CarraLegend Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Hopefully just the first one this season. Legend!

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Quote The Dalglish family have tonight released the following statement to supporters regarding Sir Kenny Dalglish. Sir Kenny was admitted to hospital on Wednesday April 8 for treatment of an infection which required intravenous antibiotics. In keeping with current procedures, he was subsequently tested for COVID-19 despite having previously displayed no symptoms of the illness. Unexpectedly, the test result was positive but he remains asymptomatic. Prior to his admission to hospital, Sir Kenny had chosen to voluntarily self-isolate for longer than the advised period together with his family. He would urge everyone to follow the relevant government and expert guidance in the days and weeks ahead. He would like to take this opportunity to thank the brilliant NHS staff, whose dedication, bravery and sacrifice should be the focus of the nation’s attention at this extraordinary time. He would also ask that they are given the space to do their jobs during what is an extremely challenging time for them and that his own family’s privacy is respected. He looks forward to being home soon. We will provide further updates as and when it is appropriate.

Begbie Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 F**king hell Good news I guess that he doesn't have symptoms but why was he tested?

Redray Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 This f***ing virus is already amongst a fair few of us. Absolutely convinced of this.
Falconhoof Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 I'm so relieved he's asymptomatic. Its interesting that he'd already isolated for a long time, and still tested positive. When i say 'interesting' I mean the virus can get to f***, but theres aspects of it that don't always fit the pattern.
Swipe Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Sorry I should maybe know this but why is the asymptomatic thing good?
McBain Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Not having symptoms is better than having symptoms?
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 means he has it but isn't showing symptoms, so either he's immune or it's not knacking him
