Hi guys

So....I am going over to europe and spending some time in England in September. Im from Australia and feel that this time over ther now would be a fantastic chance to get to see liverpool live.

Now, I know the fixtures arent out and I am certainly not asking for tickets or to buy tickets anyone here or anything like that, I was just wondering if there was a good way for me to get access to purchsing tickets. I dont want to use a dodgy websit that charges like 600 pounds because even though I am willing to pay alot I dont want it to turn out to be fake!

I know when I was in spain a few years ago Espanyol had an allocation for those with a forirgn passport but i truly doubt that Anfield would have such measures as we sell out almost every match.

So key question - What is the best way for someone over seas to buy liverpool tickets - obviously I have only ever watched Liverpool on the Box and I do so religously (up every early morning and late night, havent missed a prem game for 3 years no matter what is on the next day).

I would have posted this in the ticket forum but you can't make new threds in there..... So there ya have it.

Also if the answer is - "no chance youll never get one" it would be nice to find out now so I dont get my hopes up come fixturing time searching for a game to be played when I am there.

Thanks for the help in advance!!

Becoming a member is the best way. Its £30 but you will be able to buy tickets in late January for any game up to christmas

Should be fine for the lesser ones

Failing that look out on forums like this one for spares. But it obviously helps if you post a bit more than you do now so people know you

Truth be told you can get a ticket for just about any game if you try hard enough

I've noticed people are using the likes of Jim Boardman on twitter now to try and get tickets.

He's a nuisance Jim! i had a couple of spares for Villa away. I tweeted it to my 4/500 followers. Went into a meeting. Jim retweeted it to his 25/26000 followers

Came back to about 40 requests!

But yeah Twitter as well. Or just be sound on here and people will sort you out

Write to the club saying its your first time and can you please get sorted for some tickets. They'll have pound signs in their eyes.

I would much rather the money go to the club than scalpers or dodgy tour websites

John, I haven't forgotten about sorting you out over this, I've just been insanely busy at work.

I am still waiting for your email!

I figured I would have to at least wait for the fixtures for next season to come out before I start dealing with it? Wont even know If they are playing while I am over there.
