Aside from the snippets linked to on this forum regarding Barnes and Barclay, i think i've listened to about 30 minutes worth. The sound of football professionals defending themselves to criticism from Darren f***ing Gough ?!!

 

Would be more original to audition some fans and select the best. Most would have more wit than Gough.

The only time I can actively remember listening to the station was during the world cup when five live went on the blink in the office so we had to turn it over. Like going from the professionals to a student-run station.

When Gough had his cricket show on R5 he was great, funny, engaging and got a lot out of guests who came on.

 

On Talksport, he's an absolute moron. Loud, shouts over anyone else, goes with whatever the latest paper opinion is as long as it's in opposition to that t*** Durham. It's so transparent. Why he's qualified to talk about football is beyond me.
