Nice of McCleish to resign. Clears the path for FSG to approach him now. After all, he is one of Ferguson's protegees. What more could we ask for ?

They definitely need money spent, their squad is a joke. They'll either need to give someone £30-40 million to spend or they'll have to accept a similar level of manager to McLeish.
